      Hello - Dear Dr. Herres,

       

      I/we are working on a clever task for THE thermodynamic physicist, so for you :

       

       

      - Please calculate the thermodynamics of a DBHD 2.0.0 repository column with the dimensions

      as planned in 2021. Please view 4 x .pdf. Only your calculation changes the planning again!

       

      - The oldest 480 lead castors have a total current decay heat of 5.3 MWh.

       

      - Please calculate the course of temperature over the years 1.) in the middle of the system

      the planner needs that

       

      - Please determine the course of temperature over the years 2.) on the edge of the metal container

      the legislature needs that

       

      - Please determine 3.) the maximum terrain elevation ? from thermal expansion and their

      4.) Limit radius ? - Please determine 5.) the time? the maximum terrain elevation.

       

       

      - Please determine how long 6.) the column needs to be in the warm, slightly viscous salt

      down to the edge of the next geology, the Rotliegend, from-to-sink ?

      For this you need the viscosity of the rock salt at different temperatures

      and the geometry of the concrete pellets. (And their average total weight)

      Castor 100 to 126 tons empty - inventory usually 10 tons - rest lead - approx. 160 tons.

       

      - Please place 7.) the decay heat on the time axis in a chart

      compared to the slow sinking of the storage concrete pellets with 8 castors each. Thanks.

      Shaft construction is anything but easy - the two world market leaders come from Germany.



      Despite long experience, there are problems with shafts for repositories. - Ing. Goebel is sure


      that both companies must first learn the outside of the shaft wall to the mountain properly


      to seal. This is not an issue for mineral extraction - the water is simply pumped out,


      because the amounts are small compared to the overall structure. - BUT repositories must be permanently


      be thoroughly dry - for very long periods of time. It is necessary to fill the joint between the shaft


      Outer wall, and to backfill the mountain sealingly. Because a trickle becomes over time-

      - unfortunately I can only report about Thyssen Schachtbau that one can use big words
